1. 🌱 Sourcing: It Begins at the Farm

Every bar starts with a bean — and we choose ours with care. Our cacao is ethically sourced from Murickassery, Adimali in Kerala, where the altitude and soil produce rich, bold-flavored beans. We work directly with farmers who understand the value of their land and their crop.


2. 🔥 Roasting: Unlocking the Flavor

Once harvested, the beans are gently roasted in small batches. This step brings out the deep, natural aromas hidden inside the cacao. Temperature and timing are everything — roast too long, and you lose nuance. Roast just right, and the bean comes alive.


3. 🍂 Winnowing: Separating the Pure from the Shell

After roasting, the beans are cracked and winnowed — a process that separates the nibs (the good stuff) from the shells. We don’t waste those shells, though. They’re brewed into our signature chocolate tea, full of subtle cocoa flavor.


4. 🌀 Grinding: Smoothness in the Making

The nibs are then stone-ground for several hours to form a silky, rich chocolate paste. This is where texture is born. The longer we grind, the smoother and deeper the final bar becomes.


5. ❄️ Tempering: Shine, Snap, and Structure

Tempering gives the chocolate its glossy finish and crisp snap. It’s a delicate balancing act of temperature and timing — and it’s what makes your bar feel luxurious in hand and on the tongue.


6. 🍫 Moulding: The Final Form

Finally, the liquid chocolate is poured into custom moulds, cooled, and wrapped. This is where it all comes together — flavor, craft, and story, shaped into every Cocoa Rich bar.
